I enjoy using my software and leadership skills to help make "liberty and justice for all" a reality for all Americans. My passions are fair, accessible elections and truthful, evidence-based messaging. I'm a life-longer learner, techie and problem-solver who loves loves to collaborate with others to apply technology and good, old-fashioned ingenuity to solve problems and increase efficiency.

I've spent 7+ years getting out the vote in Colorado and getting Colorado Democrats elected. Before that, I spent 15+ years building products in the software industry.

I'm currently working on a Data Analysis Certificate at the University of Denver which I will complete August 8, 2023.

Project: County Commissioner Redistricting

Analysis aid for proposed district maps

This project focuses on the county commissioner redistricting happening now (2023) in El Paso County, CO. The browser application allows the user to choose a proposed district map and view population, demographics and political competitiveness for each district on that map.

Technologies used:

Client side: Javascript, Leaflet, D3, Bootstrap and Chart.js.
Server side: Python, SQLite3.
